A MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR

The events keep coming… Not sure about you, but I really love this time of year when there is so much activity happening around town that you can’t help but feel invigorated. With the end of the NRL season comes the start of the NBL season, and it’s not too late to secure corporate sponsorship or membership of the Townsville Fire or Townsville Crocodiles. In October, we see the third North Queensland Business and Franchise Expo, held here in Townsville. This is a great event that showcases the business opportunities on offer and a chance to meet many local business people. Our team is one of many exhibitors and I encourage you to take the time to visit the expo during 10-12 October to support and keep business in our region. In this edition, we continue exploring our neighbouring regions and this time we head to Charters Towers. There you will find varied and great experiences that capture the essence of a western town and will fall in love with the old fashioned streetscape and values it has retained. I will sign off thanking and congratulating our team – they have done a tremendous job putting together another outstanding edition, as we take another step closer to our vision. Enjoy this edition.

Marissa Candy.
